S.O.S.: The 2011 Maxima Swim & Bikini Summit



Witness & experience a sizzling summer at Maxima Aqua Fun on May 21,2011. Register on the the funswim event for only 400 pesos. Inclusive of an event t-shirt, packed lunch and resort entrance.

You can also get the hot chance of witnessing the whole day event which will showcase a fun swimming in the morning, bikini pageant in the afternoon, & party all night with the Tribu K'Mindanawan Firedancers.

Maxima Aqua Fun management is conducting this event for the first time aiming to promote awareness on the protection of the marine ecosystem through education & eco-tourism. This also wants to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship, healthy competitiveness, & self-discipline among its participants. 

The activity has two parts - a the fun swim in the morning, and bikini open in the afternoon. This event is a mix of adventure, fun, and entertainment all in one day

“Visit Samal Island” Campaign : Fun Activities this Summer




The tourism stakeholders in Samal launched a new marketing campaign to invite more to tourist to visit Island Garden City of Samal,  known as “Visit Samal Island”. The campaign expected to attract hundred thousand  visitors which has the chance to be given with free tickets. These tickets entitled visitors to receive discounts and freebies from the different tourism establishments in Samal Island.

The “Visit Samal Island” campaign is organized by the Local Government of the Island Garden City of Samal in partnership with the Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS) Tourism Council, Samal City Resort Association and the Department of Tourism.

Below is the list of activities in Samal Island courtesy of the Mindanao Tourism Council. The activities are part of the “Visit Samal Island” campaign.

Deca Wakeboard Park Davao












Deca Adventure.
The newest Davao tourist attraction is now open for public. Deca Wakeboard Park is open daily from 8:30 to 12:30 in the morning and 1:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon.

Expansion

Expansion is still on going. It has been expanding since its soft opening in 2009. The place is still incomplete but the accommodation and other services available will surely satisfy your craving for adventure and fun. For now there is a limited accommodation which includes an overnight stay in their private rooms ideally made for four persons, with price starts from Php 1000 and above. Amenities also get better and the place continues to improve their Cable Park, restaurants, sports shop and massage center.

How to Get in Deca Wakeboarding Park




It is recommended to ride a taxi of about Php 200 or 250 from downtown area or Davao International Airport, respectively. A van is also available if you are from Bangkerohan Public Market while an air-conditioned bus will take you to the park if you’re from Calinan, Bukidnon or Cagayan de Oro.

Malagos Garden Resort


Malagos Garden Resort is a resort located on the highlands West of Davao City. The resort is a mere 30 minute ride from the metropolis and is also accessible to public transportation.
